(Houston)—According to ABC 13, the suspect that refused to be pulled over by police and lead them on a chase from Houston’s South Side to Northeast Houston, reportedly told authorities he ran because he has outstanding warrants and a suspended license.
The chase began near the Astrodome right after 3 p.m., and ended in northeast Houston after the suspect abandoned his tan Pontiac Aztec.
The suspect, described as a white male, was tased by police who pursued the suspect on foot.
At one point, the suspect alluded police as he drove through Union Pacific’s Eastwood Rail Yard, near Liberty Rd., in Houston.
The driver also narrowly encountered a school bus while he was chased through a residential area nearby. There was no impact nor injuries.
