(WASHINGTON) — Gas prices are heading back down in many areas of the country. New figures from the Energy Department show prices are down 2 cents in the past week to $3.59 a gallon for regular unleaded.

But gas prices aren’t down everywhere. In California, the gas average is up 8 cents in the past week to $3.90 per gallon — the most expensive of any state. Colorado is up about 3 cents in the past week.
