(Houston)– The Houston Police Department is expanding its use of social media to keep the public informed about crime and other important issues. Nextdoor.com is a web site dedicated to helping neighbors communicate with each other even if they don’t know each other. HPD’s social media coordinator Angela Douglas;
HPD already uses Facebook and Twitter.
