(HOUSTON, TX)– The Texas Fire Marshal‘s office has launched a website that lets Texans search for facilities with large amounts of ammonium nitrate, the chemical that ignited a fertilizer plant in West, last April, and killed 15 people.

The online program allows residents to enter a zip code and see if that code has an ammonium nitrate storage facility with more than ten-thousand pounds, or five tons. At record, 110 facilities in 71 Texas counties have that amount or more.
