In the City Council at Large position three run-off race, candidate Roy Morales tried to get his opponent removed from the the ballot, contending Michael Kubosh did not live in the city of Houston.

Morales maintains “Mr. Kubosh was not a resident of the city of Houston on November 6, 2012.”

A judge denied Morales request.  Kubosh says calls Morales a desperate man “the things they were saying just weren’t true.”

Kubosh says Morales went to court because he’s afraid he won’t win at the polls.  He says “it was just really sad to see something like that happening in America when we believe in elections.”

In addition to the City Council at Large position three race,  four other Houston City Council races will be decided during the runoff election December 14th.
