It’s been 50 years since an assassin’s bullet cut short the life of President John F. Kennedy. The 35th President of the United States was pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. The building was full of gifted doctors who found themselves powerless to save him. Houston Trauma Surgeon Red Duke was one of them.
Dr. Duke was not the only one now living in the Houston area who was at the hospital that day. Former Fort Bend County Sheriff Milton Wright found himself in the middle of history as well.
