(HOUSTON) — Houston police want to arrest a Sharpstown High School Spanish teacher for indecency and improper relationship with a child. The problem is he did not report to school Friday and is now considered a fugitive.
The principal of Sharpstown High School and two of his assistants have all been arrested for failure to report allegations of child abuse. Once investigators started looking around they found more allegations of abuse that they say were ignored. Jane Waters of the Harris County District Attorney’s office:
“During the course of that investigation they also found out there were other allegations of abuse that had not been reported on previous incidences. One happened in the spring of last year and one happened on October 19th of this year at Sharpstown High School.”
The principal is accused of not reporting three incidents that he knew about including a claim of abuse at home.
His two assistants are accused of one count each of failing to report.
Each failed to report a different case according to the DA’s office.
