(HOUSTON, TX)– The father who tried to make bank robbing a family business has copped a plea.
Ronald “Scott” Catt pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated robbery in exchange for a 24 year prison sentence. Catt told channel 13 he’s not proud of robbing the First Community Credit Union near Katy last year. His 18 year old daughter, Abigail, was given five years in prison and his son accepted a 10 year sentence. Investigators say the family also robbed five other banks in Texas and Oregon.
