UH Professor Aims to Solve African Dust Pollution [LISTEN]

A UH professor is studying a Houston pollution problem that comes from more that 6,000 miles away: dust from Africa.


Dr. Shankar Chellam is currently researching this dust that is coming from the Sahara Desert. Chellam says this can cause an even larger issue for Houston.

He is trying to find out exactly how much of this dust is being imported from Africa.
