(HOUSTON) — A motion to stop construction of the Ashby High Rise has been denied.
A judge heard arguments in a lawsuit last week and and ruled in favor of the construction company Thursday.

Residents have been fighting for seven years to stop the 21-story tower in Rice Village from being built, despite Houston having no zoning laws.
At this point, construction on the Ashby High Rise can move forward.
