(HOUSTON) — After multiple trades in the first round, the Cleveland Browns traded up again to the 22nd pick and chose Texas A&M University quarterback Johnny Manziel in the 2014 NFL Draft on Thursday.
The Aggie and Heisman Trophy winner was skipped over by the Houston Texans, who chose Jadeveon Clowney from South Carolina with their first pick.

Johnny Football was also selected after two of his A&M teammates, OL Jake Matthews and WR Mike Evans.
“I told myself from the beginning that God had a plan for me and it would all work out,” Manziel said. “I really, truly believe Cleveland was where I’m supposed to end up.”
