2 Men Fatally Shot in Houston Parking Lot, Gunman Flees

(HOUSTON) — Houston police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead and a gunman on the loose.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fuel Depot parking lot on South Main.

The Latest News Headlines, Traffic and Weather:

Police said Desmond Akens and Keivan Breaux, both 20, were shot during a disturbance with two other men in the parking lot.

Breaux died at the scene. Akens was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The shooter was described only as a black male. Witnesses told police he fled inbound on South Main in a dark grey, four-door Honda Accord from the early 2000s.
