Brent Clanton's broadcasting career spans nearly 40 years. During this time, he has been continuously on the air while holding executive positions with several major radio stations.
Clanton has been Marketing Director for KODA/SUNNY 99.1 in Houston, Program Director for Clear Channel’s KPEZ in Austin, Operations Manager for CBS Radio’s Business Radio650 in Houston, Program Director for KTSA in San Antonio, and General Manager of the BizRadio Network. He self-produced CBS Radio’s Talk650 Morning Show in Houston.
Brent's on-air experience includes News Anchor for KRAV/Tulsa, air personality at KMOD/Tulsa and KRAV/Tulsa, as well as morning show host for KPEZ/Austin and KODA/Houston. He originated and hosted the popular Sunday Jazz Brunch for KODA, as well as morning talk-show host duties concurrent with his managerial responsibilities.
Clanton is past-president and current advisory board member of the Texas Gulf Coast chapter of the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, and has served on their National Board of Representatives. He is a member of the 1st Texas Volunteers, dedicated to the renovation and preservation of the Battleship “Texas.” He serves as an elder for the Kleinwood Church of Christ in Northwest Harris County. He and his bride have been married for 35 years, have two grown children, and one newly-minted granddaughter.
