Brent Clanton's broadcasting career spans over 35 years. During this time he has been continuously on the air while holding executive positions with several major radio stations.
Clanton has been Marketing Director for KODA/SUNNY 99.1 in Houston, Program Director for Clear Channel’s KPEZ in Austin, Operations Manager for CBS Radio’s Business Radio650 in Houston, Program Director for KTSA in San Antonio, and General Manager of the BizRadio Network. Most recently he produced CBS Radio’s Talk650 Morning Show in Houston.
Clanton’s on-air experience includes News Anchor for KRAV/Tulsa, air personality at KMOD/Tulsa and KRAV/Tulsa, as well as morning show host for KPEZ/Austin and KODA/Houston. He originated and hosted the popular Sunday Jazz Brunch for KODA for over seven years, and has been a morning talk-show host for the past 12 years, concurrent with his managerial responsibilities.
Clanton is past-president and current advisory board member of the Houston chapter of the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, and has served on their National Board of Representatives. He also serves as an elder for the Kleinwood church of Christ in Northwest Houston. He and his wife have been married for 33-years, and have two grown children.
