At a very early age, Patrick was bitten by the radio bug. Within his first few years of life he became attached at the hip to his tape recorder and microphone, setting the stage for his radio dreams. In the years that followed, Patrick began to focus on his skills as a producer of audio, which eventually led to his being called up to the big leagues of radio broadcasting. Originally from Austin, TX, he attended college at Eastern Washington University, studying English and Journalism, but chose a different career path after finishing school, working with animals in veterinary clinics and veterinary diagnostic labs. After more than five years in the field of veterinary medicine and diagnostics, he realized that his true passion was indeed in broadcasting. In 2008 he moved to Houston to begin part-time weekend work in radio at KTRH, and less than a year later became their morning news producer and, shortly thereafter, morning news editor. In 2011 his love and passion for informative quality programming and news radio led him to his biggest achievement yet – joining the team as the morning news producer and web reporter for News 92 FM. You can find out what’s hot on the News 92 FM website by catching his web reports at: 38 past each hour, from 5 a.m. until 9 a.m., every weekday morning.
