Kevin Charles is a 30-year-veteran of broadcasting. Kevin has been heard on radio stations throughout East Texas, Houston, St. Louis, Chicago, Omaha and the Pacific Northwest. Kevin's experience has landed him both on the air and behind the scenes, including duties as an on air personality, production director, and morning show producer. Besides his current role as news anchor, he has worked in a variety of formats including Country, Top 40, Oldies and Classic Hits.
Most recently he has anchored the news for a dozen affiliates of Remote News Service in markets all across the United States. Kevin also served as the News Bureau Chief for Metro Networks Houston from 2003-2008. During his tenure, Kevin and his staff kept Houston and Metro's affiliates across the nation up to date with major stories including the downfall of Enron, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricanes Rita and Ike. Kevin's voice helped calm and inform residents as they evacuated the city prior to the storms.
Kevin operates a successful voice over business from his home studio in Fort Bend County. His hobbies include camping, reading, photography and travel. Besides spending time with his wife and two daughters, Kevin is also actively involved with the praise team at his church.
