For many it’s hard to believe that it has been eleven years since the terrorist attacks on America. The vision of a second plane hitting the World Trade Center tower, both towers crumbling and folks jumping out of windows to their deaths are all images that are etched in just about all of our minds. But the process of rebuilding after the attacks in Pennsylvania, the Pentagon and in New York has taken place… and so has the healing of American’s hearts. We walked away bruised, confused, distraught and depressed. We emerge strong, stable and full of love and light that will carry us each year when the calendar reads “September 11th”. Today, we remember the bravery and courage of so many and the love of those lost. Today we walk in love and light remembering that healing is not an overnight process but a lifetime of self- growth, development and love for ourselves and one another.
