Maria Todd is the Weekend Anchor at News 92 FM. Maria got her start in radio at an all-news station in her birthplace of Buffalo, New York. She moved to Houston in 1993 to to co-host the morning show on Susquehanna’s 104 KRBE, a position she held until 2006 when the company was sold. Maria then moved to San Francisco to work for CBS Radio.
Despite the beauty of the Bay Area, she was homesick for Houston and moved back in 2010.
Outside of radio, Maria is active with a number of local charities including The Rose, Susan G. Komen, Bikers Against Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society.
In her personal life, Maria is happily engaged and acting as stepmother to three children. She is an animal lover and “Mom” to three dogs including a pitbull mix rescue.

Bonton holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Writing from the University of Houston, a Master’s Degree in counseling from Prairie View University, and an educational leadership/mid-management certification from Stephen F. Austin University. She is a state certified teacher, counselor, school administrator. Michelle is also a successful grant writer who has written grants totaling in the millions at the federal, state, and local level.As an expert in public and private school education, Michelle Bonton established Education Valet as a vehicle to inform parents and empower students. She now seeks to impact the local, regional, and national community with her knowledge of the educational system and success with transforming students into scholars!

Preston Brown & Jon Denman
Preston has been a home brewer for 7 years. He brews 10 gallon batches of beer at a time. He teaches the Advanced Home Brewing Classes for Backyard Home Brewers and Education Center and is the President of the Rogue Brewers Coalition Homebrew Club. He currently is the IT Director for a small Oil & Gas company in downtown Houston.
Jon is co-owner of Backyard Home Brewers and Education Center in Humble, TX. His brewing experience is short, only 4 years but he’s very knowledgeable in the brewing art. His goal when opening the shop and to this day is to get people drinking better beer. Through the free classes offered at his shop, many new and experienced brewers have been able to prefect their hobby and make better beer.
